Concert by Maestro Andrea Lucchesini
Charitable initiatives continue in order to carry out the restoration of the door of the Church of Carmine in Montecatini Alto, which was partially destroyed following a fire, probably of arson origin, that occurred in April 2021.
This year, the Parish of San Pietro Apostolo in Montecatini Alto has involved in this challenging restoration project another great pianist, born in Massa e Cozzile 60 years ago, who needs no introduction, being well-known in Italy and abroad: Maestro Andrea Lucchesini, son of the musician Milado, who enthusiastically accepted the invitation for this noble cause.
The concert, for which the patronage of the Municipality of Montecatini has been requested, will take place on Monday, September 15th at 9:00 PM in the Church of San Pietro Apostolo in Montecatini Alto, where Maestro Lucchesini will perform music by Schubert, Brahms, and Chopin. Admission to the concert is free-will donation, and the proceeds will be entirely allocated to the restoration of the door of the Church of Carmine, so that the church may once again be attended by the faithful and by visitors.
Everyone is warmly invited to take part.
