Summer at the Library! – “PARCO-LAB”: Young and Adult Explorers in the Library Park

“PARCOLAB” is a series of initiatives aimed at children aged 0 to 11, designed to build community, promote reading and creativity, and encourage the public to enjoy the free services offered by the city library. The project features a calendar of thirteen educational and creative workshops, divided by age group: from our youngest visitors, “Born to Read” (0–3 years), to preschool and primary school children (4–11 years).

The themes will range from emotions and growth to the spirit of discovery, the extraordinary capacity for creation, and the thrill of adventure. The events will take place throughout June, July, August, and September 2026, in the beautiful setting of the “Forini Lippi” park, located at Via Provinciale Lucchese 41. The workshops are curated by PromoCultura.

School Mission!

What will school be like? Through fun and reassuring stories, children will discover what awaits them, from new friends and teachers to the many adventures they will share. This is a chance to approach the start of this new journey with curiosity and peace of mind. At the end of the session, they will create a colorful “Emotion Folder,” which they can personalize with drawings, stamps, and wishes for their new school adventure!
