Montecatini Terme. Faces and Stories of the 20th Century

November 22, 2025 – 4:00 PM: Inauguration of the Photography Exhibition

Speakers: Paolo Vincenti and Roberto Pinochi
The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a short multi-voice conference illustrating how Montecatini Terme transformed from a rural area into one of Europe’s most famous spa resorts in roughly one hundred years.

Hours: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The photographic exhibition specifically documents the social and commercial life of various areas of the city, focusing on the history of the first urban settlement around the Bagni di Montecatini, particularly the areas represented by Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Gramsci, Piazza XX Settembre, the beginning of Corso Matteotti, the beginning of Corso Roma, and the Kursaal.
