- Thursday, April 2, 5:00 PM – Francesca Alotta, winner of Sanremo ’92 with “Non amarmi” and Sanremo ’93 with “Un anno di noi,” presents a musical performance of her book “Vastàsa, stories of rebellious women (including mine).” A work dedicated to courageous women who changed their own history and that of all Italian women, featuring guitarist Attilio Costa. The event explores the evolution of women’s rights from the late 19th century to today and her personal story of resilience. Prefaces by Maria Rita Parsi, Eleonora Daniele, and Mariella Nava. Dedicated to all women fighting to be themselves: Woman, Life, Freedom.

From the ‘madness’ of Saint Francis to the ‘lords’ of the new century.” Guests: historian Franco Cardini (The Age of Revolutions), art historian Daniela Ferrari (Avant-garde and the Return to Order 1909-1948), President of Tuscany Eugenio Giani (Politics and Institutions in the Contemporary Age), and Riccardo Nencini (From the Old to the New World Order).
- Saturday, September 5, 9:00 PM – “Happy Birthday Giancarlo Bigazzi,” an evening dedicated to Italian music, featuring stories and artists who shaped the history of the great composer.
- Monday, September 7, 5:00 PM – Luca Trapanese, the first single father to adopt a child with Down syndrome in Italy, presents his book: “Storia di una famiglia imperfetta” (Story of an Imperfect Family).
“FACE TO FACE WITH VIOLENCE” PROGRAM
This year, the editorial board of “Acqua in bocca ma non troppo” has decided that meetings regarding gender-based violence and cultural awareness will not be restricted to the autumn but spread throughout the year to remind us that this evolving phenomenon is a daily reality.
- Date TBD (Tettuccio Thermal Establishment) – Identikit of Gender Violence in Italy: From Law to Culture. Meeting with Martina Semenzato (President of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into Femicide) and Professor Anna Loretoni (Scuola Sant’Anna, Pisa). Institutional greetings by Siliana Biagini.
- October 2026 – Meeting with Senator Susanna Campione (Justice Commission). Theme: “Femicide: From Cultural Definition to Crime.” Topics include: the debate on sexual violence, prejudices in and out of court, female perpetrators, difficulties for men in reporting, lack of recovery programs, and violence in same-sex couples.
- Autumn 2026 – From online grooming and WhatsApp sex to sexual blackmail: “Virtual is Real.” New forms of violence and breaking cultural prejudices.
All events are free of charge and will be conducted by journalist/criminologist Ilaria Bonuccelli and editorial director Simona Peselli.
