The Department of Culture celebrates the city’s patron saint with a day full of events dedicated to Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany, and Mo.C.A.’s birthday!

On Thursday, Dec. 4, the feast day of the city’s patron saint, the Department of Culture is promoting a series of interesting initiatives aimed at celebrating the 260th anniversary of the installation of Peter Leopold of Habsburg-Lorraine, Grand Duke of Tuscany, and celebrating 13 years of the opening of Mo.C.A. – Montecatini Terme Contemporary Art.

It begins at 10:30 a.m. with a special philatelic cancellation by the Italian Post Office dedicated to Peter Leopold. The event, which will last until 4:30 p.m., will take place on the ground floor of the Municipal Palace.
