In the afternoon, Mo.C.A. staff celebrate the 13th birthday of the prestigious Civic Gallery. When the museum space was opened on Dec. 4, 2012, the civic collection consisted of Mir\u00f3’s canvas and 40 works. Today the art collection boasts more than 700 works including paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, street art<\/em> and comic books. Many of these works were donated by the authors themselves or by collectors, the others acquired through the free offerings of visitors, and now, alongside Joan Mir\u00f3, Italian and foreign artists of international fame and level can be counted. So on December 4 the Gallery will also be extraordinarily open in the afternoon from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., and at 5 p.m. we look forward to seeing you for a free guided tour of the exhibition ” Catarsini’s “The Twentieth Century. From stain to machine.” <\/em>. Curated by the Alfredo Catarsini 1899 ETS Foundation and promoted by the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Montecatini Terme, the exhibition is also accessible to blind people.<\/p>\n
